My wife recently had an outpatient procedure at this facility. We paid the estimated bill amount at the time of the procedure and the staff was professional. It had been around 8 weeks when we got a call from the billing department. I called the gentleman back the same day but he couldn't release information about the balance because they needed permission from my wife but he did tell me the amount was small. I told him my wife was sick but we would call him back later. Got a call today from my wifes former employer. Apparently it was a bill collector who left a message on the work voicemail about a billing concern. I haven't had the opportunity to call North Valley Surgical Center but I'm absolutely floored. We haven't even received a bill and only got the bill for the anesthesiologist a few days earlier. I'll update this review if anything changes but in medical billing, you're only as good as your billing department. Predatory collecting and humiliating phone calls to an employer without even sending a bill is disgusting. Especially considering procedure itself was only 8 weeks prior.
