Union definitely has a lot of pluses - a neat location, great decor, but based on the price I wasn't overly impressed.
We made a reservation, but they got their numbers confused so we ended up sitting at the bar right by the door - definitely not comfortable. It made service slow too because we were out of the way of the main service.
Food was yummy but not out of this world. Elk sliders were great. Soup of the day was so so. My main chicken entree was good, but not great. Everyone gets sides of french fries and potato salad which were OK.
I'd certainly be willing to give these guys another chance, because I think there's potential there.
