Stopped in Maxwell's at about 8:30 on a Wednesday night and it was still pretty busy! There was a man singing and performing, and the overall atmosphere was great. It was cool and trendy without trying too hard to make it that way. Noise level can be a bit loud, so not the best place to have a conversational date or get-together.
Service was a bit slow but our waiter was very nice and did a great job keeping up with water and being pleasant. Our food (burgers) came out shortly as well. It was great!! The burgers are well sized and the fries are thick cut. You really get what you pay for! Couldn't even finish all of my Carolina Burger, had to box it up for later.
Would definitely go back if I was in the area.
