I first went to the Scottsdale Gun Club in 2008 and was extremely impressed. I was so impressed that I became a Titanium Club member (private country club for shooters). I really enjoy competitive shooting and exotic firearms. You never know who you will run into at SGC, Athletes, Celebrities, CEO's and hardcore enthusiasts are found here. This place is way better than the Beverly Hills Gun Club on Beverly Hills Cop 2. I often see tourists from Japan and all over Europe coming in to try out full auto with some belt fed machine guns or famous sub machine guns like the MP5 or UZI. Yes you need to exercise extreme caution at all times while handling firearms, just as you must use extreme caution while driving. This is the place to learn about and acquire firearms that you would be hard pressed to find in other places. Arizona has the best laws in the USA for owning firearms, according to the NRA. One out of four automobiles has a firearm inside it in this state. Rarely will you hear about a violent crime in Arizona. SGC does need to shrink the size of their CCW classes, so that students can get more one on one time. You don't need a CCW to carry a concealed firearm in Arizona, but you better know the laws because you can quickly find yourself in a mess if you have to draw a firearm. SGC gets 4 out of 5 stars because their classes do need some improvement.
