Hmm. It's hard not to feel bad for this place. Located in an older plaza, you just know that this was probably the place you went when you wanted Chinese on this side of town. Now, I think these older single entree places don't have a chance against the buffet on Independence. I got the beef Lo-mein (pictured). Nice portion. I liked the thinner noodle (beef was mainly on the bottom) but really, no flavor. Bright side, the hot and sour soup was one of the best I've had. Service was actually pretty good too. But the atmosphere, ugh. There was a woman 4 tables away reading all the negative Yelp reviews out loud to the owner telling her she worked with a company that could delete them. Talk about a depressing background to your meal. (Lady, if you read this, you own a CBD retail shop. I know because we got to enjoy every word of your 20 minute sales call).
