Took the car in because we thought there might be brake issues, and I'm about to deliver twins - so I want to make sure the car is safe.
They took a look and the brakes are fine, but it needs to have the rear struts replaced. They said it would take them 4 hours to replace and do an alignment. Figuring 4 hours is worth a safe drive, we said go ahead.
6 and a half hours later, the alignment isn't done, but it's dark, the shop closed an hour and a half ago, and they want us back on Monday to finish.
The manager spent his time those first four hours trying to crack jokes, while the mechanics tried twice to put back together the rear end of my car, while taking plenty of time to chat with a friend who stopped by.
Driving the thing home was ridiculous, it made more noise than before. And now has an alignment issue, when it didn't before. And I get to waste more of my time with these guys, instead of prepping for the birth that will happen 6 days from now.
