So I've wandered in here before to browse the Animal Hall of Fame (photos and bios of pets that have performed heroic, usually lifesaving, feats), but I've never been able to participate in their events since I don't have a dog, and most of their activities revolve around dogs. Even the gift shop seems to mostly carry stuff for dogs: cute outfits, harnesses and leashes, and fancy treats. ...Except for yesterday, when I went to watch the Acro-Cats perform at Pawsway. (It's a traveling cat circus. No, really.) The event itself was sponsored by Purina, so we received loot bags for attending, and the Pawsway staff did everything they could to make it a comfortable space for the audience and the performers (one of whom ran into the audience mid-show and was scooped up by a staff member). Pawsway was the perfect venue for this sort of event; I hope there are lots more like it in the future.
