Very disappointed in this place. First off, I waited exactly 3 minutes and 23 seconds before I was acknowledged (and yes, I timed it) For a place that seems pretty prideful in food options online, the 'cook' didn't seem terribly concerned or knowledgable in what was in the featured item of the day. (Jack fruit tacos) I asked what all went in it before I ordered she literally shrugged at me and looked up at the menu for clues. The girl who rang me up mentioned to her 'we you should know since you're gonna be making it if she orders it.'
Another disappointment, I wanted to order a raw juice, I asked if it was possible to get just carrot and ginger, she said 'they're premade cause if you've owned a juicer, you'd know they're a bitch to clean.' ...I'm okay, so you're not willing to make something I can have just because the equipment is a hassle for you to clean?
Moving on, since I couldn't have anything else, I opted for lemonade...tastes like watered down minute maid...the jackfruit tacos we're okay,...but left me hungry again an hour later...for $11.95...I'd hoped to be full a little longer..
Overall, for being 'vegan friendly' ...allergens don't seem to be a priority here...gluten free options seemed to be next to nothing which was a bit of a let down. Perhaps I had higher expectations from seeing such high reviews on this place, but I don't think I'll be returning to a place where the workers make you feel like you're an inconvenience to serve.
