I give Poke Bar a 3.5 rating Every Poke chain has a different spin on their interpretation and offerings. This Poke chain stands out in my mind because it offers Poke Nachos (have not seen this anywhere else) and because they put the rice on the side rather than underneath the fish and toppings. I appreciate this as I feel most Poke places put too much rice in their bowls. Poke Bar also offers 3 sizes and is slightly more affordable than other chains. I walked in and told the staff I had $13, they told me I could get a medium size bowl with 3 scoops of protein. I usually opt for marinated tuna, salmon and octopus (another plus for Poke Bar) or creamy spicy scallops. The usual selection of toppings are offered (wish they used fresh pineapple vs canned), standard sauces and dried sprinkles at the end. The fish is fresh, establishment is clean, welcoming and staff is very good. Love the location in the Whole Foods shopping center! Definitely buy your sushi fix here (rather than Whole Paycheck).
