I'll be as fair as possible with this review. First the positives. I played the Padre course on July 5. I liked the parkland style layout. It's a nice break from the desert style courses I usually play. The green conditions for July were fantastic; better than much higher end courses in the area. Now the negatives. Our cart GPS was determined to be 15 yards off (which we finally figured out by the 3rd hole). A replacement cart was brought out. When we asked the course marshal about water stations (it was 110 degrees after all) we were directed to the cart sign with water station locations. However, the water coolers had hot water coming out of them. When we asked if this typical of this course, the marshal's reply was "I said we had water, I didn't say we had cold water". It didn't help that we saw a beverage cart once...while we were coming up the 18th hole. As with any business, a good product can be hurt by a bad attitude. I think Camelback needs a little more attention to those details.
