If you are flying American Airlines, avoid this airport at all costs. They pull this ridiculous "you bag is too big sir" crap. I've flown 300,000 miles with my bag and never had to check it because it's too big. They lie and tell you it's FAA rules. I worked for the FAA, max size is 45 linear inches not 22. Oh and the airport is a dump. Long security lines, poor food choices, and dirty bathrooms. No thank you PHX.
