Coming from a state that is dominated by a commercial donut franchise, it was quite refreshing and scrumptious to come across this neighborhood donut shop. You walk in and right away the donut displau lures you in. As I walk around I see awards and the cool looking machinery used to produce their other baked goods. First impression: I liked the level of sweetness on the filling of the donuts, since in my oinion other places have them too sweet, the texture on the donut is interesting since its more breadlike compared to a Krispy Kreme experience which is a combination of sugar overload and the dough texture so "airy" that it almost seems you are eating sugar on air.
Nonetheless if I am in the neighborhood, I will be sure to pick up a dozen.
