Our first visit to a Gordon Ramsay restaurant. Absolutely incredible. Our server, Oliver was knowledgeable, witty, and a perfect gentlemen. The food recommendations were exquisite. I will preempt this with the fact that I came with the already decided intention of the Japanese A5, cooked to the chef's recommended temperature, and it did NOT disappoint. Oliver brought out a cut to describe it and was ready to bring out the authentic certificate from Japan if asked (we didn't, only because we didn't dare be that pompous). The marbling was so impressive, and it just melted in my mouth. The Mac and Cheese and the Mashed Potatoes were so luxurious and rich, but I knew I had to save room for dessert, which everyone told me I HAD to get: the Sticky Toffee Pudding... There are no words for how amazing that was. From the Brown Butter Ice Cream that actually looked like a stick of butter (complete with knife slicing through it), to the toffee poured over the dessert... Heaven. All the presentations were done to perfection, as to be expected. Best surprise of the night, Gordon Ramsay himself showed up, greeted guests and staff and went through his kitchen! Absolutely unforgettable experience from start to finish!
