The humidor is more like a well kept archive, but it's really the man behind the counter that makes this cigar store stand out. Jimmy is a genuine gentleman, he seems to know everything about cigars, and remembers everything about his customers. I've been stopping by for several years and consider myself an "irregular" because I appear so sporadically. But Jimmy remembers me and things about my family, knows what I usually buy, and subtly offers recommendations that have helped improve my appreciation for cigars. I once tried another shop that opened a few blocks from my home, only to get frustrated because the young man running the place couldn't find what I wanted, so I dashed over to Jimmy's store, finding it had just closed. As I was getting back in my car, Jimmy pulled up. He was driving home, noticed me pass by, then turned around and opened his store again so I could grab my usual handful of smokes. All in his usual calm and jovial manner. Such rare service, it's above and beyond. This is a truly notable cigar store among the masses of others in Scottsdale. Highly recommended.
