This is one of my favorite shops! In recent years, I've significantly changed my shopping habits, making a point to almost exclusively buy items that are made ethically, by people who are treated fairly. This generally means items that are made in USA, or are fair-trade, or otherwise have a transparent and clean supply chain. As you can imagine, it can be very difficult to find these items, especially in an actual brick-and-mortar store. This is why I appreciate Local Nomad so much, and why it's one of my go-to shops to browse for home goods, gifts, and accessories. The majority of the items I find here meet my shopping standards, and it's very refreshing to see a local shop embracing the same values that are important to me. I wish I could buy everything in this store, as it's all so beautiful and made with care!
