Yoga tree is a well-known yoga chain and this location is one of the many others. I chose it for the convenience as I was doing a drop-in, I had limited time. I would not particularly recommend it over other yoga studios. Pluses: - convenient location - lots of classes - Beautiful spaces Minuses: - Reception feels chaotic: lots of people asked the same questions to me a few times as I was trying to get signed-in. Honestly they were quite abrupt and it did not feel that welcoming. - Very rigid on schedule: I don't make a habit of being late but of all the studio in the world that I have been to, this is THE most uptight with regards to time. Be aware YOU WILL NOT BE LET IN if you are not EARLY for class. It's not really a minus but it's important to note. - My teacher discouraged me from using props?! I have sensitive knees so I brought a blanket and I was told "oh you won't need it, this is not a restorative class". That does not feel like a supportive environment. Some background on me, I have been doing yoga for over 10 yrs and I am a teacher. I practiced at Downward Dog years ago. I would say that doing yoga (safely) is better than not doing yoga.
