Came in for a forward helix piercing on my right ear, was recommended this place by a friend. Ryan was mine and my friends piercer. He was super nice and squeezed us both in on short notice. I had gotten a forward helix done on my other ear with easy, quick healing. This piercing on the other hand was not easy, quick healing. I picked what color stud I wanted put in and he pierced my ear with ease. I know how to take care of piercings considering I have had more than 50 piercings in my life time. I continued to care for my new piercing like normal and started noticing the swelling was looking odd and something didn't seem right after a little bit of time. One night after work I came home complaining about my ear only to have my friend check my piercing out and tell me he doesn't see the back to my piercing and the back doesn't look right so I knew I needed to take this thing out. My ear hurt so bad, and I started to pull the stud out. It wasn't coming out easy something was wrong. I finally got the jewelry out and noticed that the entire post, back and all was still attached and my ear sucked the jewelry into the hole because the post was WAYYYYYY too small. I compared the right (new piercing) to my left (old piercing) and the difference was the post was like half of the old piercings size. My new forward helix had zero room for swelling. So I'm writing this post because I'm pissed this happened and I wasted money on what should have been a no brainer piercing considering I already had this piercing in my other ear. Just be careful with what jewelry you put in and make sure there's room for your new piercing to swell.
Since I cannot respond to the review I'm just editing this in response. This happened the 3rd or 4th week after I received the piercing. The swelling just continued to worsen and sucked in the jewelry. Which would be why I did not follow up because I had no piercing in my ear.
