I can't really attest to the museum part, but I attend shows & events here frequently & it is one of my favorite event locations in town. The concerts put on by the MIM are excellent in their own right, but what keeps me coming back is the great audience experience at the concerts. The concert hall is smaller & has fewer seats than many, but what that means is that the seats are comfortable & there is an intimate vibe to the performance. On top of being comfortable & intimate, the concert tickets are not overly expensive. I don't have any problem buying two tickets then inviting a friend later, because they are affordable! Also, I have been to the MIM for a couple of events & they do an excellent job. They offer adequate parking & have a staff that is able to keep the event flowing without issue. Overall, I love the MIM & every time I see an event or concert there, I just pick up a couple of tickets to go & enjoy myself.
