Do not go here if you want a wax. The owner does the waxing and is more concerned with running her beauty school than treating her paying clients.
I received a call today 3 hours before my appointment to tell me that the owner won't be in today, due to a school emergency, and that my appointment was canceled. They did offer some times later in the week, but I scheduled my wax the day before my event, when I needed it to be taken care of.
The first time I went, they called 2 hours before my appointment and tried to push it back 3 hours. I told them I had a 15 minute delay I could accommodate and came in 15 minutes later than my appointment time. I happened to walk past the owner/waxer who was yelling at the receptionist that I would have to wait and this "meeting" she was going to had been on the books. Mind you, I scheduled my appointment at least 4 weeks in advance.
We gave her 10 minutes and she did come back to perform the wax and told me how the meeting was for her school and how important it was. I said nothing and tipped $5. There's a reason they offer a Groupon for every service....
