So we went in for an estimate on the battery for a Prius, we were quoted $1800 to $2200 max. Once the battery was checked out we got a call back saying it was going to be $2800,that's almost $1000 more. So if we didn't do the work at the shop, we would've then still had to pay $400 for the diagnosis. Which you're never told about when you first take your car in for an estimate. I believe this shop just want to get you in the door and once they do they know you're stuck there and you're almost forced to have them do the work on your car. I would never recommend anybody going there for any Prius or hybrid electric car services.
