The owners are actually from Europe (with an Indian background) so I dunno how really authentic their food is as I have not yet been to India. However, having lived in the UK where there's an abundance of good (and equally bad) Indian places, Namskar is probably one of the best in Calgary to represent that style of cooking. The best deal is probably their lunch buffets, a bit more limited selection but what they have is done very well. Dinner is best but I agree that their prices are a little higher than other places with portions lacking slightly. I'd have to rate Clay Oven and Namskar as my go to places for Indian of all the places in Calgary.
