Every time I come here, it gets me all nostalgic. From working here as a carnie back in the day, to filling my face with food (which still happens), it's always a good time. This year, I convinced my boyfriend with free tickets. I am easily attracted to good music, and that somehow lead us to watching the parkour show. My boyfriend joked that I stayed for the athletic guys, but in all honesty it was a really great action paced show to watch. In terms of food, we ate more than our stomachs could handle. We got a steak and cheese sandwich from Steak and Cheese, a ramen burger from Yatai, and a bison poutine from Canadiana. My favourite has to be the bison poutine from Canadiana, because the bison was deliciously spiced! We then waited in a long line for the chairlift which costs 5 coupons. 4 coupons cost $5, and just purchasing one is $1.25. So if you plan on just riding the chairlift, the total cost will be $6.25. If I had to recommend any ride, it would be the chairlift, you get to actually enjoy the grounds above. I would highly recommend purchasing the tickets before you go on at any ticket booth without a line, because the booths beside the chair lift can be super long.
