We recently moved here from San Diego and been wanting to check this place out. Moment hubby and I walked in we were greeted with "hoorah" and a retired Marine walked up to us, introduced himself and bought us our first drinks. We wanted to have dinner there but we arrived too late. They close the galley at 2000. Another Marine sitting next to us, Will introduced himself and we ended up hanging out till the bar closed. He jokingly said that since I was allowed to wear their uniform for serving as a Navy "doc" I am very welcome to the club. He gave hubby his phone number and said to call him anytime. They have a room in the back with lots of memorabilia and history which I find amazing. Asia the bartender recommended for us to drop by on Friday nights. At the end of the night, we only paid $2. Wow! Will definitely go back. They made us feel so welcome.
