I'm not happy its gone, but no wonder. I'm an AZ native and have been going here since the early 70's. They used to have a simple menu and they did everything right....then they greatly expanded the menu (to try to compete in an ever changing industry), cut costs and quality on ingredients, and died.
I will always remember the days of the huge, made to order hamburgers, crispy steakhouse fries, and the deliciously lean, sliced (not chopped) bbq beef sandwiches..along with the sawdust on the floor and the guns in the holsters!
Also the prospector scene has been broken since I was a kid, which doesnt help this review!
