OMG!!! I'm sure you can look at the name and easily mistake this place for some "good eatin"...but then you walk in and realize that the $10 lunch buffet only has 8 items. So as we did, you might THINK that the menu selection will be a little bigger but it's NOT!!! My mom and I actually got 1 thing from each category except "sandwiches". As my starter I had the "exotic mushrooms" which had NO taste! That was ok because unlike others I can appreciate the natural taste of foods but this was going a little far. Then we had "soup & salad"-Arugula & Brunswick Stew. The soup was OK but the salad only had oil as the dressing so it tasted like NOTHING. Then we got our entree...I had the shrimp & grits with sausage and my mom tried the crab cakes with grits and green beans. I tasted her food first and I was immediately turned off! The grits were tasteless and so were the crabcakes. Atleast the green beans had great texture! LOL! My cheese grits were tasteless as well, along with the shrimp. The gravy and the sausage had flavor but not enough to compensate for the rest of the dish. I have NEVER said any food didn't taste like anything but this was a FIRST. I know how to add flavor without salt and I don't think they do. There was no onion, garlic, herb or spice in those dishes. LOL I will NEVER go back unless a person dear to my heart BEGS me to go with them & even then I will not pay for my own food!
