Kind of odd to go to a bagel shop and just get bread with cream cheese. The bagels don't taste like classic, standard boiled bagels. Not quite sure what they do in their bagel preparation to have bagels taste like regular bread, but I don't like it. Service is good. Lots of good choices on the menu. Italian Soda tasted pretty flat, so I wouldn't recommend it. Also their Orange Juice is from concentrate, which is a no-no these days!
Drive about 2 miles west to 43rd Avenue/Bell (NW corner) to find Einstein Bagels. I'm all about supporting local businesses, but Bagel Gourmet needs to step up their game for my continued support.
