Wandering horse buffet, which is located at walking stick resort and casino, was well worth the $14.95 weekday lunch price, which includes your drink as well. The buffet has several different cuisines.
The dessert bar was definitely our favorite part of the meal. With various hand-dipped ice creams, pies, cakes, cookies, crepes, it was like a dream. I tried about 10 different desserts and they were all good.
I would say the biggest disappointment was the meat menu. the prime rib was very tough, the barbecue ribs were not tender, and the smoked salmon was just ok. the tangerine chicken was probably the best meat entree that I tried.
I would definitely go back, but it would be nice if the wandering horse would improve their protein!
