I ate lunch with my husband at Sa Bai on a Friday. Lunch specials are priced from $8-$10, which is $1-$2 per plate more than most other Thai places around town, so I was expecting some really decent food. Alas I was sadly disappointed. I ordered the green curry beef jalapeno and my spouse ordered the spicy noodles with chicken. My green curry dish was simply not very good. There was little beef or jalapeno in my curry, which consisted mostly of a gooey green curry base artificially thickened with cornstarch. My husband's noodle dish was much better, but unremarkable considering the price and small portion size. Both the dining room and bathroom were very clean and well kept, so Sa Bai impressed me as a nice place to maybe go on a first date, but I certainly won't be back for the food anytime soon.
