I want to love Lush. Really I do. Who wouldn't want to love mostly-natural, cruelty-free and vegan products? However, my skin and hair just don't mesh well with Lush. I have hormonal acne, so at this point I need medical grade product including oral medication to cure my acne. Recently, I decided to give Lush another chance since my skin has changed some. I still suffer from bouts of acne when I'm not on my medication, which includes during my last 2 visits. The first time I came back in a while, I wasn't really given much assistance. I don't necessarily mind that since I navigated the website before I came to determined what I wanted, but it would've been nice. The cashier was super friendly, so there's that. As an aside, these products did NOTHING for me. My acne stayed put, I felt I didn't get a good enough wash, and the R&B dried out my hair. I unfortunately lost my receipt. I came a second time to return the products for some things I've tried before and found worked (ocean salt and a mask.) I did not want my money back, and couldn't get it back without a receipt, which I was fine with. I was even fine with being unable to return a certain product as it did not have the original barcode (it was Fresh Farmacy). While the employees were generally friendly and helpful, I felt that the general attitude shifted upon doing the return. While I can't put my finger exactly on how I was treated, it was much like someone handing you a used tissue to hold. I'm not sure if they were suspicious of me or just plain tired. Either way, I did feel a bit out of place at that point. But the girls were generally friendly, especially the pink haired gal, she was a doll, and I'll give them the benefit of the doubt that maybe it was just a long day? So not a great experience, but not an entirely bad one either. It was ok.
