Honda Power Equipment dealers are supposed to support Waranty, Recalls and Parts to all customers. My mower fuel tank recall was not supported at this dealer after talking to 3 or 4 different people, one said I need the Model & Serial numbers, got the numbers and they said they never heard of a fuel tank recall and stopped talking, one even said I need a certificate from Honda! Honda corporate said that is BS and they should call Honda Tech Line and look at Service Bulletin #53.
They also said some parts were not available, parts I just bought at Stotz Equipment a few miles down the road. Have you ever heard of a $20 charge just to order a part? Yea, me neither! They also sold me non-Honda aftermarket parts for what genuine Honda costs elsewhere.
To top it all off, instead of making a new account for me they made my receipt name as some Landscaping Co in Litchfield Park. I hope this is not done as a tax fraud scheme to show some other company buying (and tax deducting) parts that they never paid for or got.
