In response to my previous post about how horrible and very rude "Sniffany & Company" is the owner response with this... Whenever you bring a very matted dog in to be groomed there is a chance that it will look choppy or blotchy because each mat is different and depending on how close to the skin it is and how tight it has gotten, will determine the length we can save. Some mats are so tight that once removed or brushed they will leave a bald spot. It does not matter how busy we are, we do one dog at a time until it is completed. We recommend your pet see the groomer more often to prevent the onset of mats or brushing at home, and we would be happy to show you how. We cannot do anything about the condition of the mats once they are set all we can do is try to get them out without injury or trauma to your pet. She was very matted due to her being a RESUE dog. We found her in the street eating out of a garbage can. So we felt it would be a great gift to her from us to get her pampered/groomed and we made the wrong choice by choosing this company!! After the grooming, we felt compeled to keep her due to her being on the streets so long and having a horrible experience at the groomers; it was the best decision we have ever made...she is the love of our life!! So assuming to believe it is neglect of the owner is very unprofessional but I do appreciate your sarcasim towards me on how to groom a dog. This just goes to show how unprofessional the owners are and how they allow their staff to hold their new born babies in a blanket while checking guest in. This seems more like what I would imagine a trailer park check-in is instead of a "Professional Groomer"
