The service for take-out was exceptionally slow today. I dropped off my typed order at approx 11:05. The bartender reviewed my 7-meal order and told me that it would take about 30 minutes. There was nobody else in the building. I returned at 11:45, and my food wasn't ready, now there was a decent lunch crowd and I could see that a few people had finished their meals. At 11:55 the bartender told me that they were hit with a bunch of large orders at once, and there was only one cook at the time. I finally left the restaurant with my food at about 12:10.
The food is good, but the wait was ridiculous. I left my phone number to call with any questions, and it would have been simple courtesy to ring me up and let me know that it would take a bit longer than expected. This way, I wouldn't have been waiting around in the restaurant for an additional 25 minutes.
