Been flying a few times between Las Vegas/Los Angeles. The flights are always on the regional jets. Prices are usually higher that mainline larger jets on Virgin, SWA, AA and Spirit. Sometimes tickets for a coach seat are around $500 for a 40 minute flight.
What is terrible is that they give no beverage service in coach, not even water. ALL the other airlines do, they have more people to serve and while there is one other attendant onboard they still give you a drink.....not Deltas regional carriers.
I flew June 9th and saw the 2 flight attendants in the "first class" galley the whole flight talking to each other, not attending to any passengers on the plane, not even first class. They don't have time to offer water (the flight was only half full) but they have time to stand around. Terrible.
