I purchased a 60 minute massage here via Groupon for $39. First of all, the massage room ambiance is subpar. There were electronic appliances stacked in the corner of the room, it was pretty musty, and you could hear most of the noises from upstairs. Someone cooked some salmon in their onsite kitchen, or something, before I got there, because the whole place smelled like burnt fish. I have no idea who my masseuse was - she never introduced herself or did any sort of intake questions- but I wondered several times during the course of the massage whether this lady was actually a massage therapist. She just sort of lathered me with tons of essential oils and lotions (enough to give me an allergy attack mid-massage) and rubbed me down with barely perceptible pressure. It seemed like she had little to no knowledge of how the human musculature system works. She also forgot to turn on the table heat until about two minutes before the massage was over, so i was freezing the whole time. Maybe she was someone who they pulled from the front desk because they were understaffed? My friend who went with me said she had a great massage, so that's why I'm giving this place 2 stars instead of 1.
