Last Friday; I took my eiderdown winter coat again for it's annual fall cleaning. The clerk said; it will be ready of Tuesday. The following Wednesday; I get an email stating that my coat is now ready to be picked up. Thursday afternoon I go to pick it up and the lady at the counter says; we couldn't clean it. Since no explanation was offered, I asked why. She said, there's holes in it. I then removed the plastic and took the coat off the hanger; where upon the two of us examined the coat. THERE WAS NO HOLES. So, I said to her; looks like your boss doesn't want the business. ( He was not there and didn't seem all the friendly when he was there). I said; that's okay; you keep my garment for nearly a week and do nothing! I'll take my business elsewhere. So; I did. I went to another local cleaner and had him examine the coat; and he had no problems with doing a dry clean on it whatsoever.
I wouldn't consider using this cleaner again; and I would advise anyone considering them; to perhaps look a little further. I didn't need the attitude or the hassle. They were a complete waste of my time.
