A couple of weeks ago I saw that they were going to be in one of the Southpark business centers so I figured I'd give them a go. The cart itself is very attractive, actually the main reason this one stuck in my head when I saw the notification. Service counter was nice and clean and the staff was very friendly. So the food itself: I only got one item from them (because there were other food trucks as well) and it was the Big Cheesy. 3 Cheeses with herbs and sea salt. It was a pretty good grilled cheese sandwich but to me it didn't have any sort of wow factor. It appears from all the other reviews that I should have gotten something with meat to satisfy the appetite because I thought for the price, portion size was lacking. That being said this is one of the most well known food trucks in Charlotte, so yes I recognize their incentive to charge a bit of a premium. Your product is worth whatever people are willing to pay! The only other drawback was the wait time, it took a good 15 minutes to get the simplest grilled cheese on the menu, from a cart that specializes in grilled cheese. Granted, this was an organized event of 4-5 trucks serving a very busy business center plus people stopping by just for the food. Trying to stay optimistic because you don't know how badly I want to like this cart! Solid sandwich, just not blown away. I'll definitely revisit and report back on the Pig Mac, the Neapolitan Chicken looks good too.
