A locally run company with a handful of outlets, deVille focuses on really good espresso-based beverages. I looked at the long line at the Starbucks kitty corner to this deVille and it was a no-brainer to go to the latter instead. In had a great Nutella latte to go, though if I worked downtown it'd be tempting to hang out here. It's spacious, artfully designed, and has lively music playing. Even more reason to stay after work would be that they are licensed for beer and wine too :-)
The modest selection of baked goods are obviously homemade, not some par-baked garbage you get at many coffee shops in town. The breakfast and lunch menu is quite small, but my interest was piqued by the "life changing" tuna sandwich. Will have to come back and try it!
