Fortunately the Bellagio hotel wasn't the most expensive place I've been. The hotel was OK - at best. The entire facility has grown tired. Perhaps this is because the lobby and casino are are basically the walkway for ALL visitors walking up and down the strip.
A few years ago, I proposed to my wife near the famous fountains. We were not staying at the hotel that visit, so on our recent stay for our anniversary, we booked a fountain view room. The shows were good, and the room was OK. The food and amenities were higher priced than elsewhere. We did enjoy the coffee shop.
