Lissa G and I went to check out Yardbird for brunch, specifically targeting their version of Chicken and Waffles.
We ended up sitting at the bar where typically you get better service. Not today, hard to even order and get our check. They all seemed more concerned with setting up all the bottles just right on the back of the bar instead of checking on customers. I will assume that was hopefully a one time experience. As for the food...expect huge portions and some damn tasty fried chicken! The chicken was so moist and the meat had so much flavor for chicken. Their long prep process does a chicken good!
Also don't miss their version of deviled eggs. Again huge, and piled high. (4/5)
We may be back since we always stay at the Palazzo, and hopefully next time the service can be a closer match with the food.
