Horrible experience with Capital Cartage. When I called to ask for an estimate I met with Mary, an extremely rude person who disparaged other vendors, told me I should have called sooner, and bullied her way into scheduling an appointment citing she was too busy to spend a few minutes on the phone with me.
Mary also told me shipping boxes for flat screen TVs would be $170 or more per TV ($35 with other suppliers), and cited they would charge a minimum of $200/hour for 5-6 hours with zero understanding of what items I wanted them to move. Mary was too busy complaining, interrupting and telling me she had to get back to work.
I was so turned off by Capital Cartage's bully behavior, I reached out to another vendor and was pleasantly surprised at their organization and pricing estimates.
My suggestion: Run the other direction.
