I am from out of town and couldn't make it home the week before my appointment with the specialist to get my blood work done. I called around to different labs to see if they accepted my insurance and if they would be available to take me as a walk-in. The appointments were booked further into the future than I had time to wait. I walked-in and found the waiting area full to capacity and people were standing also. I'm pretty sure the patients were only about half the people because most of them were elderly and had assistance. Regardless, I waited for nearly an hour. I HAD to get my blood drawn today so the results would be ready when I made it back home to see my doctor. Once I arrived, I had to get my doctor's office to submit a lab request order because I left mine at home in California. My doctor's office faxed it over. Luckily, I wasn't placed at the back of the line during the wait for it to arrive! After the long wait, I finally made it to get my blood drawn. It was done and I was on my way fairly quickly. What I really like about this lab is that you can log in and see your results online once they're ready. It was most helpful because I took a screenshot from my phone and was able to show my doctor. She hadn't received the results at the office. That was a good thing because I really needed the results at my office visit so we could go over my medication dosage. If I happen to be back here and need an on-the-spot blood draw, I would return.
