My daughter order flowers for Teleflora for Valentine Day. Unfortunately the order was sent to Flower Hut. The flowers were to be delivered to my workplace on Sunday Feb. 14th. There was no one at the reception desk to open to gate for the driver at the workplace. The driver DID have my phone number and he called from an "unknown" number. I, like most people, do not answer "unknown" phone numbers. Of course, he did not do the professional thing and leave a voice message when he made the call. If he had, I would returned the call promptly and the day would have been saved. When I finally received a call from a "local" phone number, they advised me that the driver had gone for the day and I would not be receiving my flowers. My daughter saved up to send me those flowers. I was more upset that she was not able to give me the gift then I was of not getting the gift. The company was VERY unprofessional and rude. When they finally felt like making a call to me they were rude and they even hung up on me when I tried to explain the situation and try to come to a reasonable solution. However, I was not to be derailed from my mission of speaking to them. After several call backs, I finally got to speak with someone on the phone at Flower Hut. This woman was more interested in telling me what, I needed to "understand" than trying to resolve the issue . The only I thing "understood" is that they were paid to perform a service and they did not. They should be ashamed that they destroyed my daughter's pride of giving her MOM a loving gift.
