I called Samsung to report a gas leak with my dryer on April 9th following an inspection by Southwest Gas. The Southwest Gas rep did a thorough inspection and said the problem was inside the dryer. I reported the problem to Samsung. The Samsung representative said a tech from Sy Electronics would be out the next day between 1 PM and 6 PM on April 10th. At 4 PM on April 10th, I placed a call to Sy Electronics to inquire when they would be out to fix my gas dryer. The person who answered the telephone said we were not even on their schedule for April 10th. Their earliest appointment was for Friday, April 13th. On April 13th, the tech arrived with a tester and no parts to fix the dryer. The tech asked me questions about the gas smell; however, he never examined the dryer. He had a little tester that he put inside the dryer which never beeped like he wanted. Then, he got up and said he'd order parts and be back. The following Monday afternoon, I called Sy Electronics to inquire about the arrival of the parts. The rep said the parts were coming to Arizona from Illinois but I could call back the next day. On Wednesday, April 19th, I called Samsung concerning my dryer. They said the parts arrived that day and to call Sy Electronics to set-up an appointment. The customer service rep at Sy set-up an appointment for the next day to repair my dryer. The "certified tech" arrived on Thursday, April 19 with the part. He installed the part and said you're going to smell some gas but it would go away. The gas smell got stronger so my husband approached the tech in front of our house. He informed the tech the gas smell was stronger. The tech said he didn't know what was wrong and he would contact Samsung. Also, he informed my husband that he would be off work the next day. The Sy Electronics location in Gilbert has only one tech who works with gas electronics. On Friday, I called Samsung to request a new dryer. I waited on the telephone for 45 minutes to speak with a Samsung Supervisor. He gave me the same run around. He called the Sy Electronics in Gilbert and said no one answered the telephone at 8:30 AM. I told him I wanted a new gas dryer. He transferred me to the Executive Customer Service with Samsung. The person who took my call looked at the notes and said that since my dryer has not been non-operational for 14 days, she could not provide me with a new gas dryer. Additionally, the tech who came to my house failed to submit his notes from the April 19th appointment. So, here I sit. I have a mountain of clothes that need to be washed. No Customer Service or intensity to repair my dryer from Samsung. Please do not buy a Samsung product!!!
