First, let me say the surgeons and medical staff who man the surgical center are exceptional, the best. However, the first impression is the worst and I'm sure does not reflect the values of the center nor the hospital. Upon arriving the door was locked, granted we were early. Pushed the call button just as we did to gain access to parking. About the same time a woman comes to open the door. We tell her thank you and she abruptly says, " Why did you push that button? Now I have to call security.". Then we attempted to turn the TV volume on since it was off and she rushed over and said angrily, " Do you need help with something?" and I responded " Not, thank you," and then with the same irritated attitude, "Well then, what were you doing?" Nothing like being reprimanded twice before 5:15 am in the morning. Also got a dirty look from her for filling out Dad's paperwork, even though he has tremors and cannot write. I explained this to her, but shouldn't have had to do so as she has no business knowing about this condition. You have no choice where your physician does surgeries, but if you have such experiences, you should contact client services to provide feedback for quality improvement.
