My first halal guys experience was the New York food stand so this one was rather disappointing. First of all, the prices here are much higher, which makes sense because they have a physical location and usd to cnd makes up for some of the difference. But cmon, halal guys was supposed to be a late night craving cheap eats kind of deal. I got the chicken and gyro plate, which had all the elements. Chicken, gyro, the coloured rice, salad, and pita bread. Food was delicious, but the gyro was too salty. Portion size is also comparable to NYC, but I feel like the pita bread was much smaller. Not a concern though. Lastly, I got this for delivery and they were doing a "12 days of EATSmas". Basically, I got the plate for $5! Obviously I write reviews based on their regular price but I highly encourage people to make the most out of promotions. Food was good, but most likely won't go again.
