Dr. Bakall is one of the best doctors out there! He has helped save my daughter not once, but twice. She has complex medical conditions that most 6 year old children don't have to deal with. We were refereed to Dr. Bakall by a specialist with Phoenix Children's Hospital. Dr. Bakall was amazing with my daughter, took the time to not only look into her condition thoroughly but he also treated myself and my child with compassion. At his urging we rushed my daughter to the ER and found out that had we waited, she might have lost part of her vision. We are still trying to figure out her medical situation and at a follow up visit he identified yet again, another very dangerous drug interaction she was experiencing that three other doctors, including an emergency physician, had dismissed. We are patients for Dr. Bakall for life. His staff are well trained and always kind to my daughter and myself. Yes, going to the eye doctor can be long (Usually 2-3 hour visit) and annoying. ( I have yet to find anyone that enjoys dilatation of the eyes, lights and all the imaging that goes along with eye care.) If you are looking for a turn and burn eye doctor I would not recommend Associated Retina Consultants. If you want doctors who truly care about your health and vision and will take the time to care correctly for you, then they are without a doubt the place to go. I changed my eye care to Dr. Bakall and would recommend him and his practice without hesitation.
