I don't have a lot say about grooming, since I only went in for dog foods, but having owned a dog boutique in a ski town for 13 years, I had sticker shock after going into Choice Pet Market and finding out that the raw food that I feed is $14 more for a six pound bag. Yes, that is $2.30 more per pound, and my dog eats two pounds per day. I compared a few other items and found everything was marked up to absurd amounts. I don't support businesses that gouge people simply because they are in a certain zip code and can afford it. I called around to seven stores (two of which found it too hard to even tell me if they carried the brand I was going to buy), and Pet Planet had the best prices along with a store on the west side of town...since I am down here visiting my parents often, they will have my business forever. Thank you Pet Planet for carrying great food brands, and marking them up appropriately. Good karma pays off!
