There's no denying that there's a large variety of food (it's a buffet after all,) but it just doesn't come across as being worthy of a AAA Five Diamond hotel. I dined at the Aria Buffet (a MGM Resorts sister property) on the same trip, and I was so much more satisfied over there. The type of food offered at the Bellagio Buffet is uninspired. One of my family members complained the smoked salmon seemed rotten -- but I didn't notice that. You won't leave hungry, but I don't think that should be the standard at a fine hotel like this.
