My son was finally accepted to one of the local charter schools and when they told me he had to wear uniforms I cringed. It's almost towards the end of the school year and here we go having to buy a full set of new school clothes again. The charter school suggested we stop by All Uniform Wear to pick up what we needed since he's starting right away and we don't have time to wait on shipping by ordering online.
When we walked through the door in less than than a minute we found an employee named Cody who was a godsend. We told him which charter school clothes we were looking for and in just a few minutes we had shirts, pants, gym shirts and gym shorts in our hands and ready to go. We had originally considered buying the uniform slacks elsewhere but the Dickies line that they carry is a little different than what you'll find at the big box discount stores. You'll pay $5 or so more per item but get slacks that are double stitched vs. single stitched. You'll get slacks with flexible and reinforced knees. In short you're paying a little bit more for a better quality product that can take the punishment kids will give them.
The store was out of the red monogrammed shirts we needed....they had the shirts but none were monogrammed. They have two Barudan monogram machines on site and told us they could monogram the shirts and have them ready in 45 minutes. Having some experience and knowledge of the monogramming process I considered that time frame to be quite reasonable. And an inspection of their monogram work on other shirts revealed no quality issues that I observed and I was looking for them.
In short Cody and others on the staff had us in and out fast! We will pick up our 3 monogrammed shirts in the morning and our son has the clothes he needs to start at his new school looking good. They are not cheap...but we like the quality of the clothing we purchased.
