So I get to the airport and I check in. I haven't checked any bags so I pay 54 extra dollars for a seat at the front of the plane, so I can get off the plane sooner. I mean, why else are these seats "premium". So I get to the gate and they tell me that I have to check my bag. I said no, I just paid extra to be at the front of the plane. There was one nice lady who understood and was trying to find a solution. She's always there - Short black bob, I see her every time I fly with Air Canada. She tried to explain this to the other gate agent who proceeded to say "I don't care. She paid for a premium seat". Again, I have to ask who pays extra to sit at the front of the plane.... if it's not for the purpose of getting of the flight sooner. Either way, I then let them check my bag. Get on the flight, and THERES NO UNDER SEAT BAGGAGE ROOM for my other bag. So I get off the flight to tell them this... so I said "what do I do with this now" the snarky gate agent said "put it under your seat as she walks away. I said "there's no under seat!" Which I feel like as the gate agent you should know. So she angrily asks over her walky talky for another bag and says I'm holding up the flight. UHHHH WHAT!! I just booked a flight with them for me and my son NEXT WEEK! Safe to say I'll be canceling that. I'll pay double to never fly with them again.
